Employer Sponsored Visas

There are several visa options which enable lawfully operating Australian and overseas employers to sponsor and employ skilled workers who have recognised qualifications and skills/or experience in particular occupations required in Australia. These visas allow Australian employers to recruit workers to fill full-time skilled vacancies within their business.
Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)
ENS provides Australian employers with the opportunity to nominate highly skilled people for permanent entry to Australian to fill permanent vacancies for which a suitable Australian candidate could not be found.
Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS)
RSMS offers an opportunity to employers in regional and low population growth areas. This scheme allows an employer to recruit applicants from overseas to fill full-time, skilled vacancies, certified by Regional Certifying Bodies (RCBs). This is where the employer has been unable to recruit a suitable qualified local employee. This visa is a permanent visa.
Temporary Work (Skilled) visa
Subclass 457 visa allows Australian employers to employ qualified or experiences skilled migrant workers from overseas to fill the vacancies in their organisation on a temporary basis for periods ranging from 3 months to 4 years. This visa is designed to fill skill shortages that cannot be met from the local labour market.
